Effect of cannabis abuse over spinal anaesthesia: A case series

Introduction: In the modern world, drug abuse is one of fastest emerging social issues. Cannabinoid receptor agonists are becoming increasingly popular as abused substance due to their ease cultivation and availability. Case report: We present a series three cases who were scheduled for lower limb surgeries planned under spinal anaesthesia. All patients consuming either cannabis or its products regularly significant time periods. subjects reported with an experience failed delayed effect after block. Conclusion: The study concluded that incidence failure anaesthesia seemed be higher in abusers than among non-abusers. There was slower onset decreased duration both sensory motor block addict patients, increase requirements doses anaesthetic analgesic agents compare non-addict patients.
